Gulfstream Park Rainbow 6 Jackpot At $315,047 For Sunday Program

Gulfstream Park’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 will have a carryover of $315,047.83 when racing resumes Sunday with a noon first race post time.

Multiple winning tickets with all six winners Saturday returned $1,223.96. It was the sixth consecutive day the Rainbow 6 was not hit.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Sunday’s Rainbow 6 sequence begins with the sixth race, a maiden claimer at a mile on the turf. The eighth race will be a 3-year-old maiden special weight for fillies going six furlongs.

The Super HI 5 carryover in the first race will be $3,293.53.

Who’s Hot: Hall of Fame jockey Javier Castellano rode three winners on Sunshine Millions Day. Castellano won aboard Big Changes ($3.60) in the Millions Turf, Justcallmenorman ($9.40) in the seventh race and Starship Jubilee ($4.20) in the Millions Filly & Mare Turf.
